A Veterans Day Remembrance Tea

Tour includes a guided tour of the Cemetery of the Alleghenies and card-writing and afternoon tea experience at The Steeping Leaf (Does not include driver gratuity (suggested $5 pp.)
9:30 a.m.: Depart Benson Lincoln Mercury lot, 4800 Clairton Blvd., Pittsburgh, PA 15236 (please park in the far end of the empty lot closest to Maxwell Drive.)
10:30 - Arrive at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, 1158 Morgan Road, Bridgeville, Pa 15017. Established in 2005, this 292-acre United States National Cemetery is located in Cecil Township, Washington County. It provides a dignified final resting place for members of the Armed Forces, veterans and eligible family members. Guests will enjoy a guided tour and presentation of the cemetery by current Cemetery Superintendent, Darlene Mathis. The cemetery will be decorated with flags in honor of Veterans Day.
Noon-2 p.m. Enjoy a three-tiered afternoon tea at The Steeping Leaf Tea House, 536 Millers Run Road, Morgan, Pa 15064. This unique bisto/ teahouse is a haven for tea enthusiasts and culinary connoisseurs alike. Take some time to savor exquisite tea and delectable bites in a lovely setting to delight your senses.
We will be writing cards for veterans at the VA Hospital and our troops overseas. I will also be providing a list of items you can donate to holiday boxes for Operation Troop Appreciation. Details to be announced.
2:30 p.m.: Approximate return to the Benson Lincoln Mercury lot depending on traffic.
