The tour includes: roundtrip transportation by luxury motorcoach, a homestyle Amish lunch, seven treats collected along the tour, and lots of opportunities for shopping and sightseeing.

Driver gratuity is not included. Suggested donation of $5 per person is recommended.

Come and enjoy the beautiful scenery, delicious cuisine, and warm hospitality the Amish are known for! Holmes County Ohio is home to the world’s largest community of plain people. The beautiful farmlands, delectable baked goods, and handmade arts and crafts draw visitors from around the globe to experience a unique, fun, and delicious adventure!


6:45 a.m.: Departure Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 450 Maxwell Drive, Pgh, Pa 15236.

10 a.m.: Arrive at Hershberger Bakery & Farmers Market which is the largest Amish family-owned bakery, with third generation helping out. You will find a full line of baked goods, also locally grown produce in the season. Walk out to the petting zoo where you get to pet Big King (the largest registered Belgium horse in Ohio). You will enjoy shopping at the farm store where they have locally made items. Honey wheat bread and kettle corn for all.


10 a.m.: Meet the local guide at the bakery born and raised in the area will be with you, sharing a lot about the Amish and Mennonite culture. She will take us on as many backroads as possible, and will also answer any questions! Gift bags for all.


11 a.m.: Depart to Heini’s Cheese for more than 20 varieties of locally made cheeses featuring their famous yogurt cheese. Enjoy many other popular choices including baby swiss, colby, cheddar, pepper jack, and their signature dessert cream cheese fudge varieties! Cheese for all.


Noon: Depart to an Amish Home meal and enjoy a family-style feast and fellowship with the family. You will learn more about how they live without all the modern technology!! Peanut butter whip for all.


1:30 p.m.: Depart to Shrocks Heritage Farm and visit the antique mall, craft mall or leather shop,.....all within easy walking distance and a great variety! Quilted potholder for all made by Sarah.


3:15 p.m.: Depart to Walnut Creek Cheese...our largest bulk food store in the area, a great place to buy spices in bulk, fresh meats, cheese, and in-house bakery that specializes in cinnamon rolls. They also serve the best ice cream. The Amish love to shop here for all their grocery needs! Ice cream cone for all.


4:30 p.m.: Depart to Hans Tasting Room...a new winery where you can sample the wines they make and also enjoy their sangria for all. Take this opportunity to grab a snack for dinner on the bus.


5:30 p.m.: Depart for home with a bag of goodies and pleasant memories!


8 p.m.: Approximate return to Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church.
