“The Good Old Days Christmas” Tour

10:30 a.m.-4 p.m.

$140 pp

 

Take a sentimental journey back in time and enjoy a nostalgic day filled with festive holiday decoration , afternoon tea and fun shopping. This tour includes: roundtrip transportation by luxury shuttle, admissions, food, beverages and a donation to the Mon Valley Women’s Shelter.. (Does not include driver gratuity. $5 pp is suggested.)

 

10:30 a.m.: Depart Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 450 Maxwell Drive, Pa 15236.


11:15 a.m.: It’s time for a delicious stop at the historic 110-year-old Valdiserri’s Italian Bakery in Belle Vernon, where great recipes never go out of style. You will have time to shop for some old-fashioned treats. Everyone receives a bag of biscotti for their holiday cookie tray.

 

Noon-1:30 p.m.: Enjoy a relaxing “Holiday High Tea” at the nostalgic Serendipity Tearoom and Cafe in Speers, PA. Soup or salad, tea sandwiches, desserts, beverage tax and gratuity are all included. Take some time to shop in the Riverside Village Shoppes right next door before we depart.

 

2-4 p.m.: The Good Old Days House in Belle Vernon, Holiday Open House, and Pajama Party (a fundraiser for the local Women’s Shelter.)

You’ll feel like you’ve taken a ride in a time machine when we visit this truly unique guesthouse that brings the past vividly to life. We will meet the vivacious innkeeper, Melanie, enjoy some holiday treats and tour her nostalgic guest house and “Happy Days Hideaway” decorated for the holidays. After you tour the house take some time to visit the Treasures and Antiques on Broad. Guests are encouraged to bring a pair of unwrapped women’s pajamas to donate to the Women’s Domestic Violence Shelter (optional).

 

3:15 p.m.: Depart for home and return by 4 p.m. depending on traffic.

  • No refunds are issued but the tour may be transferred to another person for that same tour. Passport to Pittsburgh reserves the right to cancel any tour due to inclement weather or if the minimum of 15 people is not met.
