DAY ONE–Monday, July 20, 2026
7 a.m.: Depart Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, 450 Maxwell Drive, Pittsburgh, Pa 15236.
10:30 a.m.: Arrive in Coshocton, Ohio, at the Welcome Center at Historic Roscoe Village. Guests will enjoy the film The Ditches of Destiny, showcasing how the canal changed our country! Visit the restored 1800’s canal town with living history buildings, including the blacksmith, doctor’s office, school, and more!
This will require about a two to three-block walk! Lots of places to sit in the village.shops, etc.
12:15 p.m.: Depart for the canal boat landing and enjoy a ride on the restored Monticello III, a horse-drawn boat ride along a restored portion of the Ohio and Erie Canal. Enjoy a one-hour leisurely ride from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Box lunch is included.
1:45 p.m.: Depart for Berlin, Ohio.
2:30 p.m.: Visit Tis the Season Christmas Shop next to the Inn for Christmas in July! This popular one-of-a-kind store features three floors of Christmas ornaments, decor and holiday gifts.
3:30 p.m.: Check into the Berlin Encore Hotel and Suites for a two- night stay. The newest Hotel in Berlin, Ohio, features a beautiful 20-foot high atrium lobby with rustic decor and plenty of room to relax. The hotel also features an indoor heated pool, a gym, and a full hot breakfast each morning.
5 p.m.: Depart to the Performing Arts Center at the Kent State Tuscarawas Branch in New Philadelphia. Address:330 University Dr. NE 44663.
5:30 p.m.: Enjoy a pre- concert Group dinner. Menu and location TBA.
7-8:30 p.m.: Enjoy a Patriotic performance by the Dominic Greco Band, established over 100 years ago! The 70-piece live orchestra is comprised of local business people from all walks of life, including doctors, lawyers, teachers, and more! The concert will feature “American Grass Roots” music with a patriotic theme!
9 p.m.: Return to the hotel.
DAY TWO–Tuesday, July 21, 2026
7 a.m.: Breakfast is included at the hotel.
9 a.m.: Depart for the MAPS Air Museum (Military Aviation Preservation Society), an internationally recognized aviation museum preserving military and aviation history and located at the Akron-Canton Airport.
9:45 a.m.: Guests will enjoy a tour of the hangars featuring more than 50 historic aircraft and the Gallery of Heroes Museum. This museum houses a section of USS Arizona, a replica MASH medic unit, and many beautifully restored military aircraft! Lunch is included (menu to follow) with a special performance by General Dwight D. Eisenhower. “Ike” will portray events leading up to the Battle of Normandy and reveal secrets of the operation during this amazing and emotional performance!
11:30 a.m.: “Lunch with Ike” program, then free time to visit gift shop.
2:30 p.m.: Stop by Walnut Creek Cheese for some delicious ice cream and shopping time before returning to the Encore Hotel for a break.
3:45 p.m.: Return to the hotel.
5:15 p.m.: Depart for the Amish Door Restaurant, Milana Event Center, for our dinner show.
5:30 p.m.: Arrive for a Celebrate America Birthday Dinner. Enjoy a plated meal (menu to follow), party favors, and birthday cake celebrating America!
7-8:30 p.m.: Salute to Old Glory Flag Show by Vane Scott II. Vane will delight you with this fun and energetic history of our US Flag set to music!
9 p.m.: Return to the hotel and relax. Maybe take a swim in the heated pool.
DAY THREE–Wednesday, July 22, 2026
7 a.m.: Breakfast is included at the hotel.
8 a.m.: Please put your bags outside your door for baggage handling.
8:45 a.m.: Depart to Hershberger Farm Market and Bakery, can also buy locally made cheeses, candy, jams, jellies, pickles, locally made arts, crafts, and more. Enjoy viewing farm animals, including Big King, the largest Belgian Draft Horse in the US! And a Fabulous array of summer produce, kettle corn, and more!
10:15 a.m.: Depart to Lamp and Light Candle for a patriotic candle carving demo by the Amish ladies, everyone will receive a small candle to take home!
11:30 a.m.: Stop by the Coblentz Chocolate Factory next to the Carlisle Inn Walnut Creek for a quick shopping stop. Watch the ladies hand-dip delicious confections and enjoy samples!
Noon.: Depart to the Der Dutchman Banquet Hall at the Carlisle Inn, Walnut Creek for buffet lunch featuring Amish pan-fried chicken, roast beef, real mashed potatoes, noodles, green beans, salad, homemade bread, and assorted mouthwatering pies! We will park behind the Inn, go in the lower level entrance to the banquet hall, and look for the tables marked with our group name.
1:30 p.m.: Depart for the Amish Country Theater for the Dave Banks Big Band Show, America Remembers! This rousing performance features a live 17-piece orchestra, singers, and music up through six decades with a special tribute to our Veterans!
2-4 p.m.: Showtime! Includes a 15-minute intermission.
4:15 p.m.: Depart for Pittsburgh following the show with a rest stop on the way home.
6:30 p.m.: Return to Holy Trinity Church Parking lot, depending on traffic.
